Readington occupies almost 48 square mile of Hunterdon County, New Jersey. 15,800 people reside in this township. This is a beautiful place to live being bound in by the Lamington River to the north and Raritan River to the south.
The Readington Township Public Schools serve students in kindergarten through grade eight. Three Bridges School educates more than 400 students kindergarten through third grade. Whitehouse School, also K-3, serves more than 500, and Holland Brook School, fourth through fifth grade, as well as Readington Middle School, sixth through eighth, educates 521 and 787 respectively. More than 3,100 students attend Hunterdon Central Regional High School along with students from Delaware Township, East Amwell, Flemington, and Raritan Township.
Interstate 78,U.S. Route 202, Route 22 and Route 31 all pass through the township. There is also New Jersey Transit service on the Raritan Valley Line to Newark Penn Station and the Hoboken Terminal. This line also has connecting service to Penn Station in New York.
