More than 3,100 students attend Hunterdon Central Regional High School along with students from Delaware Township, East Amwell, Flemington, and Raritan Township.

Interstate 78,U.S. Route 202, Route 22 and Route 31 all pass through the township. There is also New Jersey Transit service on the Raritan Valley Line to Newark Penn Station and the Hoboken Terminal. This line also has connecting service to Penn Station in New York.
