Milltown Public Schools serve students grades kindergarten through eighth. Parkview School educates 290 students Pre-K through grade three and Joyce Kilmer School serves 340 students from fourth to eighth grade. Public school students in grades nine through twelve attend Spotswood High School in Spotswood as part of a sending/receiving relationship. There is also a Catholic K-8 grade school in Milltown, Our Lady of Lourdes.
