Manville is a Borough in Somerset County, New Jersey. The borough of Manville was named after the Johns Manville Corporation, a manufacturing company specializing in insulation, roofing materials, and engineered products which was located in Manville for decades. Manville is home to more than 10,000 residents.
The Manville School District serves students in kindergarten through twelfth grade. Weston School educates students kindergarten through third grade; with more than 350 students enrolled. Fourth and fifth grade students attend Roosevelt Elementary School. About 170 students are enrolled at that elementary school. Alexander Batcho Intermediate School serves 330 plus students sixth through eighth grade. Manville High School educates more than 400 students grades nine through twelve. There is also a Catholic School in Manville, Christ the King, serving students Pre-K through grade eight.
Route 206 lies to the left of Manville while Interstate 287 sits on the right side of the borough.
