Lebanon Township in Hunterdon County borders both Warren and Morris Counties. Historically an agricultural community, the township has grown in recent years while still maintaining its rural character and charm. This borough occupies 31.7 square miles of land with more than 6,000 residents living among mountains, farmlands and forests of the Round Valley and the rivers and tributaries of the Spruce Run Reservoirs.
The Lebanon Township Schools educate students in kindergarten through eighth grade. Valley View School serves children grades kindergarten through fourth, enrolled is approximately 430 students. Educating around 385 students Woodglen School serves the fifth through eighth graders in Lebanon Township. High school students attend Voorhees High School along with students from Califon, Glen Gardner, Hampton, High Bridge, and Tewksbury. Lebanon Township is also home to the Hunterdon Learning Center, an alternative education school.
Route 31 passes through the township, providing access to Interstate 78.
