Right in the heart of Hunterdon County, New Jersey, a small borough of 1,200 residents sits among the landscape of trees and majestic beauty. Lebanon is 0.9 square miles of breath taking creation amid beautiful colonial houses. Lebanon is an independent municipality located entirely within Clinton Township. The borough is located just North of the Round Valley Reservoir.
At just under 100 students enrolled, Lebanon Borough School educates children kindergarten through sixth grade. The seventh and eighth grade students attend Clinton Township Middle School are part of a sending/receiving program between Lebanon and Clinton Township. The ninth through twelfth grade students attend North Hunterdon High School in Annadale. North Hunterdon High School also serves students from Bethlehem, Clinton Town, Clinton Township, Franklin Township, Lebanon and Union. The high school students also have the option of attending the Hunterdon County Polytech Career Academy in Raritan Township instead of North Hunterdon High School.
Lebanon is located right along Route 22, with Interstate 78 to the north. New Jersey Transit also offers service at the Lebanon station along the Raritan Valley Line.
