The Borough of Glen Gardner is nestled o n just 1.6 square miles of land in the northeastern part of Hunterdon County, New Jersey. The boroughs name came about when the Gardner Brothers established a frame shop in Glen Gardner.

Glen Gardner does not have any of its own school facilities within the borough's limits, but the kindergarten though eighth grade students attend the nearby Clinton Public Schools as part of sending/receiving relationship. The other students in grades nine through twelve attend Voorhees High School, along with high school students from Califon, Hampton, High Bridge, Lebanon Township and Tewksbury.

State Highway 31 run right through Glen Gardner making this borough convenient to get in and out of, but enough removed from the busy areas around it to enjoy time with your family or spend a relaxing weekend with friends.
